Bengaluru: Netpoleon India, part of Japanese conglomerate Macnica Inc., has named Gaurav Ranade as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With close to 30 years in IT and cybersecurity, Ranade will focus on strengthening the company’s services in key sectors like government, BFSI, and telecom.
As CTO, he will lead efforts to enhance Netpoleon India’s cybersecurity offerings, tailoring solutions for critical industries such as banking and finance. His responsibilities include developing secure architectures and strategies to meet the growing demands of these sectors.
Ranade has previously worked with firms like RAH Infotech and Sterlite Technologies, contributing to major projects such as the Delhi Safe City and BSNL 4G initiatives. His experience spans Security Operations Centers (SOCs), Network Operations Centers (NOCs), and large-scale digital transformations.
This move comes shortly after Netpoleon India appointed Shubha Mangala Sunil as Cybersecurity Strategic Advisor in June, signaling a broader push to expand its cybersecurity expertise.
