Prayagraj: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated several projects at Prayagraj ahead of the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. The projects launched span across infrastructure, Ganga rejuvenation, and transit corridors.
In particular, the following projects have been unveiled by the PM:

Several rail and road projects like 10 new Road Over Bridges (RoBs) or flyovers, permanent Ghats, and riverfront roads to boost infrastructure and provide seamless connectivity in Prayagraj.

Projects for the treatment of minor drains leading to the river Ganga to ensure zero discharge of untreated water into the river. Additionally, infrastructure projects related to drinking water and power were also launched.

Major temple corridors including the Bharadwaj Ashram Corridor, Shringverpur Dham Corridor, Akshayvat Corridor, and Hanuman Mandir Corridor, among others.
Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, took to his X handle to share the details of the inaugurated projects. He wrote,
“Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji inaugurated various development projects worth ₹ 5,500 crores, including Akshay Vat Corridor, Hanuman Temple Corridor, Saraswati Koop Corridor, Bhardwaj Ashram Corridor and Shringaverpur Corridor in Sangam area, Mahakumbhnagar, Prayagraj today.
On this occasion, along with the unveiling of the 56-foot-high statue of Lord Shri Ram and Nishadraj, ‘SahAIyak Chatbot’ was also launched to make the Maha Kumbh easier for devotees and tourists.
I express my heartfelt gratitude to you, Prime Minister, for giving this gift to all the followers of Sanatan Dharma and all the devotees of India in the country and the world who have love for India.”
These projects are expected to ensure ease of access to devotees and also boost spiritual tourism at the decadal event of Maha Kumbh.
