Agartala: The government of Tripura undertook a minor bureaucratic reshuffle under which it has announced the transfers of five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers. As per the official notification, IAS Raval Hamendra Kumar (2011 batch) has been appointed as the Special Secretary of the Education Department. He previously served as the Special Secretary of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, and Education (School and Higher).
The list of other transfers includes:
IAS Debapriya Bardhan (2012 batch), currently the District Magistrate (DM) & Collector of North Tripura District, Dharmanagar, has been made Special Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department.
IAS Shailesh Yadav (2013 batch), currently the Municipal Commissioner, Agartala Municipal Corporation, will continue with his existing responsibilities, including Mission Director & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agartala Smart City Ltd., while also taking on additional charges of Director, Urban Development, Commissioner, TUDA, Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen), CEO, Tripura Jal Board, and Additional Secretary, Rural Development (MGNREGA & Panchayats).
IAS Chandni Chandran (2017 batch), presently DM & Collector, Khowai District, has been now transferred and posted as DM & Collector, North Tripura District, Dharmanagar.
IAS Rajat Pant (2021 batch), currently serving as Director of Urban Development, has been now posted as DM & Collector, Khowai District, Khowai.
