New Delhi: CERT-In and Kaspersky have collaborated to create an extensive set of cybersecurity guidelines aimed at protecting Smart City infrastructure across India.
Christened as Cyber Security Guidelines for Smart City Infrastructure, these include key strategies, best practices and security measures to safeguard urban digital entities from the growing cyber risks.
The specific guidelines include threat landscape analysis, cybersecurity standards and frameworks, smart city cybersecurity architecture, data security and privacy, network security measures, IoT and AI security, incident response and crisis management and supply chain security and vendor management.
“These guidelines can significantly reduce vulnerabilities and strengthen the resilience of Smart City, infrastructure against evolving cyber threats,” claimed Dr Sanjay Bahl, DG, CERT-In.
Issues like Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Â Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, Software Bill of Materials framework, DDoS attacks and their ramifications in the Smart City infrastructure will be taking centerstage.
