New Delhi: AVPL International, a leader in drone technology and vocational training, has partnered with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI). The collaboration, formalised through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), seeks to close the skill gap and develop a future-ready workforce for the country’s growing electronics sector.
As India emerges as a major hub for electronics manufacturing and innovation, the demand for a skilled, tech-savvy workforce is rising sharply. This partnership will facilitate the development of advanced training programs tailored to both domestic and international standards, with a focus on semiconductor manufacturing, electronics production, and next-generation technologies.
“This partnership marks a significant leap in preparing India’s workforce for the future,” said Deep Sihag Sisai, Founder & Chairman of AVPL International. “The electronics industry is evolving rapidly, and our collaboration with ESSCI will help ensure that young Indians are equipped with the skills needed to thrive in this dynamic space.”
The initiative will offer a blend of theoretical instruction and practical experience, including certification, industry internships, and placement support. These holistic training modules aim to enable smooth entry into the workforce and create clear career pathways for learners.
“By tackling the skills gap in the electronics sector, we’re not just building careers—we’re enabling young Indians to shape their own futures,” said Preet Sandhu, Co-Founder & MD of AVPL International. “This initiative will also open doors for innovation, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance, contributing meaningfully to India’s economic growth.”
This partnership goes beyond conventional training—it is a mission to catalyse national development. With a large youth population, India stands to benefit immensely from equitable access to high-quality training in emerging technologies. The program is designed to reach rural and semi-urban regions, creating sustainable employment, curbing migration, and encouraging entrepreneurship at the grassroots level.
Together, AVPL International and ESSCI are not only building skills but also laying the foundation for a resilient, competitive, and inclusive electronics ecosystem that supports India’s aspirations of global leadership in technology.
