Raipur: The government of Chhattisgarh has announced the transfer of two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including IAS Rajat Kumar, as part of an administrative reshuffle.
According to the official notification by the Chhattisgarh government, IAS Rajat Kumar (2005 batch), who currently serves as Secretary of the Commerce & Industry and Public Enterprises Department and has the additional charge of Commerce & Industry (Railway Projects), has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary of the General Administration Department.
Meanwhile, IAS Mukesh Kumar Bansal (2005 batch), presently serving as Secretary, Finance Department, and holding additional charges as Secretary, Commercial Tax (except Excise & Registration) and Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been relieved from the additional charge of Secretary, General Administration Department.
Besides the IAS transfers, the government has also reshuffled six State Administrative Service officers:Â
- PCS Vinayak Sharma has been posted as Additional Collector, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
- PCS Mamta Yadav has been appointed as Joint Collector, Bilaspur.
- PCS Madhuri Som Thakur has been posted as Joint Collector, Korba.
- PCS Snigdha Tiwari has been transferred to the position of Joint Collector, Janjgir-Champa.
- PCS Ashok Kumar Marble has been appointed as Deputy Collector, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh.
- PCS Geeta Raisth has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Revenue Division, Commissioner’s Office, Bastar Division, Jagdalpur.
