Under the Health Ministry’s LaQshya project, a central team visits the hospital and monitors different aspects like the quality of beds in the maternity ward, as well as the comfort and safety of the pregnant mothers.
This visit was conducted in June and the results were published on 24 July. The CNMC maternity OT bagged 90.83 per cent mark, while the maternity labour room got a 97.50 per cent mark.
CNMC Superintendent and gynaecologist Dr Arghya Moitra informed that even last year, CNMC bagged in excess of 80 per cent. But this year’s result has exceeded all expectations.
