Trains will run from all terminal stations at a frequency of 30 minutes until 6:00 AM. After that, services will follow the regular schedule for the rest of the day.
Passengers carrying a valid invitation card issued by the Ministry of Defence for the Independence Day ceremony will be provided special QR tickets for travel to and from the venue. The DMRC stated that the cost of this travel will be reimbursed by the Ministry of Defence.
DMRC has advised the commuters to plan their journeys through the Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, and Delhi Gate Metro stations since they are the closest to the Independence Day venue.
According to DMRC, the early start aims to ensure smooth and convenient travel for all attendees while supporting the nation’s celebrations.
