Gurugram:Â Iron Mountain has appointed Ashish Gunwal as Head of Marketing for the India Region.
Gunwal brings a rich mix of experience in brand strategy, growth marketing, and technology marketing, built over leadership roles at Airtel Business, HCLTech, and Newgen Software.
Before this appointment, Gunwal served as the General Manager- Brand and Marketing at Airtel Business, where he drove impactful brand strategies and led market-defining initiatives. His earlier stints at HCLTech and Newgen Software focused on product marketing and management, where he contributed to shaping product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and competitive positioning across global markets.
Gunwal’s expertise spans brand awareness, product positioning, channel partner marketing, market research, event management, content marketing, and sales enablement activities. He has also managed large-scale agency and vendor collaborations and led internal communication programs.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Gunwal began his career in technical roles at CSC, HCL Comnet, and Binary Semantics, contributing to projects such as Cisco TelePresence and Google Street View.
His appointment is expected to strengthen Iron Mountain’s presence in India through innovative and technology-driven marketing initiatives.
