New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has appointed Saumitra P Srivastava as Director (Marketing) of the company
Srivastava brings more than three decades of experience in downstream operations, marketing, and strategic leadership within the company. Before this appointment, he served as the Executive Director (Corporate Strategy), overseeing strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and overall operations.
Previously, Srivastava has served in multiple leadership roles across Indian Oil’s operations, including serving as Head of Retail Transformation Group, Retail Business Head for North & East India, and as Head of State for Maharashtra & Goa. He also headed divisional offices in New Delhi and Mumbai and managed sales operations in Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
In his new role as Director (Marketing), Srivastava will spearhead Indian Oil’s marketing network and infrastructure. He will focus on creating a more agile, efficient, and technologically advanced marketing ecosystem and support Indian Oil’s customer-centricity approach and the transition towards sustainable and future-ready fuels
Srivastava is an alumnus of IIT Roorkee, where he earned a degree in civil engineering. He then did his Executive MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.
