Bhopal: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred 24 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. As per the official notification, IAS Suresh Kumar (2010 batch) has been appointed Divisional Commissioner of Morena.
Kumar previously served as the Collector of Panna.Â
The list of other notable transfers includes
- IAS Usha Parmar (2011 batch), previously serving as the Additional Commissioner (Revenue), Bhopal Division, has been made the new Collector of Panna.
- IAS Shailendra Singh (2010 batch), previously Collector of Chhindwara, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department.
- IAS Neha Marvya Singh (2011 batch), previously Collector of Dindori, has been posted as Director, Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes Department.
- IAS Sanjeev Srivastava (2011 batch), previously Collector of Bhind, has been made Additional Secretary of the Public Works Department.
- IAS Shivraj Singh Verma (2011 batch), previously Additional Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department, has been made Additional Commissioner (Revenue), Bhopal Division.
- IAS Rajesh Batham (2012 batch), previously Collector of Ratlam, has been made Additional Secretary of the Forest Department.
- IAS Rajni Singh (2013 batch), previously Labour Commissioner, Indore, has been appointed as the Collector of Narsinghpur.
- IAS Neeraj Kumar Varishth (2013 batch), previously Director, Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes Department, has been made the Collector of Pandhurna.
- IAS Shitla Patel (2014 batch), previously Collector of Narsinghpur, has now been appointed as Collector of Siwani.
- IAS Ankit Asthana (2014 batch), previously Collector of Morena, has been appointed Deputy Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department, and Additional Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation Limited.
