New Delhi: Dr. Vikas Kumar, Managing Director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), has been felicitated with the prestigious Leadership Award by the India Water Foundation for his contribution to sustainable infrastructure and urban development.
The award is supported by leading national and international institutions, including the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and NITI Aayog, as well as several key ministries of the Government of India.
The recognition highlights Dr. Kumar’s leadership in strengthening environmentally responsible urban transport systems. Under his guidance, DMRC has continued to set benchmarks in metro operations, urban mobility planning, and the adoption of sustainable transport solutions.
