Bengaluru, May 29 (APAC Media): Senior IAS Khushboo G. Chowdhary has been appointed as the Commissioner for Industrial Development and Director of Industries and Commerce, Karnataka.Â
In addition to her new responsibilities, she has also been assigned concurrent charge as Secretary, Higher Education, and Managing Director of the Karnataka State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC), Bengaluru.
A 2008-batch officer of the Karnataka cadre, Chowdhary brings extensive administrative experience across various departments. She holds a B.Com degree from Punjab University, Chandigarh, an MBA from Delhi University, and an MA from IGNOU, Delhi.
Over the years, she has served in several key positions, including Additional Resident Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Under Secretary Equivalent, and Assistant Commissioner. Her wide-ranging experience in governance, administration, and industrial development is expected to strengthen Karnataka’s industrial and infrastructure growth initiatives.
