New Delhi, May 20 (APAC Media): Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles on Tuesday launched the Bharat Tex 2026 Event App, a unified digital platform aimed at improving the experience of buyers, exhibitors, international delegates, speakers, and consultants attending India’s largest global textile event.
The textile event is supposed to take place in New Delhi from 14 to 17 July.Â
Developed as part of Bharat Tex 2026’s digital-first strategy, the app is expected to support business networking, improve attendee engagement, and enable smarter interactions.Â
The Bharat Tex 2026 App has been designed as a complete digital companion for registered participants, offering features such as exhibitor discovery, event schedules, meeting management, venue navigation, lead capture, and real-time event updates through a single mobile interface.
One of the key features of the app is its AI-powered Smart Assistant, which will function as a 24×7 digital guide for attendees. Users can ask event-related questions in simple language and receive answers related to schedules, venue details, directions, and other important updates.Â
The app also includes networking and meeting management modules that allow buyers, exhibitors and delegates to identify potential business partners and therefore schedule meetings with them.Â
Bharat Tex 2026 is being organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation, a consortium of 11 textile Export Promotion Councils and industry bodies, with support from the Ministry of Textiles.
Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “5F†vision – Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign – the event aims to position India as a sustainable, innovation-driven and globally comprehensive textile investment destination.Â
