Noida, May 29 (APAC Media): Shares of Wipro Limited rose 3 per cent to Rs 211 on the BSE on Monday after the IT major announced an expanded partnership with ServiceNow to scale agentic AI workflows across key enterprise functions, including IT, human resources, procurement and cybersecurity.
The company’s American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) jumped as much as 18.5 per cent following the announcement, reflecting strong investor optimism over the collaboration and its potential to accelerate AI-led enterprise transformation.
Shares of Wipro Limited surged 2.18 per cent to Rs 206 on the BSE on Monday. On the NSE, the stock rose 2.21 per cent to Rs 206.5 during intraday trade at 11:10 AM.
Wipro Limited will integrate its Wipro Intelligence suite of AI-powered platforms and solutions with the ServiceNow AI Platform to enable enterprises to automate and orchestrate workflows across multiple systems.
The companies said the integration is intended to reduce manual coordination, enhance visibility into workflow execution, and accelerate turnaround times, while also strengthening operational governance and accountability across enterprise processes, according to a statement from Wipro Limited and ServiceNow.
“Our expanded partnership with ServiceNow combines a consulting-led and AI-powered approach to help clients align AI initiatives with business priorities, streamline operations, and deliver measurable outcomes while maintaining appropriate governance and controls,” Malay Joshi, CEO, Wipro’s Americas 1 Strategic Market Unit, said.
As part of the collaboration, several Wipro Intelligence solutions will integrate capabilities from the ServiceNow AI Platform, including Smart Procure, a procurement workflow tool aimed at reducing cycle times by streamlining approvals and standardising processes, the companies added.
“While enterprises have adopted AI for years, the next phase is about connected, governed and outcome-focused AI embedded within secure workflows,” Amit Zavery, president of ServiceNow, said.
The firm also said its Telco Autonomous Networks offering will leverage AI-enabled workflows and telecom-specific context to improve service operations and speed up issue resolution.
In cybersecurity, Wipro Limited’s Cyber Transform solution will integrate with the platform to enhance vulnerability management, incident response workflows, and governance across security operations.
The companies did not disclose financial details of the expanded partnership between Wipro Limited and ServiceNow.
