New Delhi, June 1 (APAC Media): The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, has launched a Centralised Online Patient Feedback System across all its hospitals and dispensaries with the aim to strengthen healthcare services.Â
The digital platform allows insured persons and beneficiaries to share their healthcare experiences, report concerns, and offer suggestions to help improve service delivery across ESIC healthcare facilities.
Your feedback guides our journey towards better healthcare for all.
Share your experience through the ESIC Patient Feedback System and help us understand, improve and care with greater compassion.#ESIC75 #SocialSecurity #PatientFeedback #DigitalIndia pic.twitter.com/rSXA97Ueiq

The feedback mechanism focuses on key aspects of patient care, including cleanliness, staff behaviour, and the availability of medicines, enabling authorities to gain direct insights into the quality of services being provided.
Easy Feedback Submission
To encourage greater participation and ensure accessibility, ESIC has introduced multiple channels through which beneficiaries can submit feedback.
Under the system, insured persons receive an automated SMS containing a feedback link immediately after availing healthcare services through the ESIC Health Information System (Dhanwantri) module.
In addition, QR codes displayed on multilingual posters at outpatient departments (OPDs) and other hospital locations allow patients to quickly access the feedback platform using their mobile phones.
Beneficiaries can also submit their feedback directly through the official ESIC website.
Technology-Driven Transparency and Accountability
The platform incorporates several technological safeguards to ensure the reliability and authenticity of the feedback received.
Patient details are verified through a one-time password (OTP) authentication process, while mechanisms have been put in place to prevent duplicate submissions.Â
The system also offers multilingual support, making it accessible to beneficiaries from diverse linguistic backgrounds across the country.
Real-Time Monitoring and Faster Corrective Action
To ensure that patient feedback leads to meaningful improvements, the platform is supported by dashboards which facilitate real-time monitoring at multiple administrative levels.
Performance data can be tracked at the headquarters, regional office, and local healthcare facility levels, enabling authorities to identify service gaps and respond promptly.Â
The system automatically flags feedback ratings below three, helping officials quickly identify critical issues and initiate corrective measures where required. Additionally, the platform enables the ranking of healthcare facilities based on their performance.Â
