New Delhi, June 4, 2026: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has appointed Anupam Agarwal as Director (Finance).
Agarwal brings over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. He has worked in finance, commercial management, corporate governance and strategic planning.
Before joining ONGC’s board, he served as Director (Finance) at ONGC Videsh Ltd.
During his tenure, he was involved in strengthening financial governance and treasury operations. He also supported ONGC Videsh’s expansion plans in overseas markets.

Agarwal has held a number of leadership roles during his career. He is known for his experience in managing complex financial operations and supporting business growth.
He has been recognised for his contributions to the sector with the ASSOCHAM Best CFO Gold Award 2025 and the ICMAI Outstanding Performer Award 2024.
His appointment comes at a time when ONGC is looking to expand its presence in both conventional and emerging energy segments.
ONGC is India’s largest oil and gas producer has been focusing on new growth opportunities while strengthening its long-term energy portfolio.
