New Delhi, June 30(APAC Media): Samsung has launched the Galaxy A27 5G in India with a starting price of Rs 28,999, bringing AI-powered features, long-term software support and a Snapdragon chipset to the mid-range smartphone segment.
The smartphone will go on sale from July 3 through Samsung’s online store, exclusive retail outlets and partner platforms. It will be available in Light Green, Light Pink and Black colour options with three storage variants — 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.
The Galaxy A27 5G features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It is powered by Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, targeting users looking for improved gaming, multitasking and everyday performance.
Samsung has added several AI-powered tools to the device, including Circle to Search with Google, Google Gemini, Perplexity integration, Voice Transcription, Live Transcription and AI-based photo editing features such as Object Eraser and My Filter.
For photography, the smartphone includes a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro camera and a 12MP front camera capable of HDR selfies and video calls. The rear camera also supports 4K video recording.
The Galaxy A27 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support. Samsung has also committed to six Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Security features include Samsung Knox, Knox Vault and Samsung Wallet with Tap & Pay, UPI support and digital document storage.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can avail a Rs 3,000 bank or UPI cashback. The company is also offering zero down-payment EMI options for up to 15 months through select non-banking financial companies, along with a 24-month EMI plan on eligible purchases.
