Noida, June 17 (APAC Media): JLR on Wednesday announced plans to unlock double-digit revenue growth by expanding customer choice through greater propulsion flexibility across its Range Rover and Defender models, while sharpening its strategic focus on the North American market.
In an update to investors at its Gaydon headquarters in the UK, Chief Executive Officer PB Balaji will set out the next phase of delivery under JLR’s Reimagine strategy, focused on strengthening the company’s House of Brands, driving growth and building resilience.
JLR is targeting medium-term double-digit revenue growth, underpinned by its House of Brands approach aimed at serving distinct customer segments and broadening its sources of growth.
“As we enter a critical business delivery phase of our Reimagine strategy, launching five new products over the next two years across our incredible House of Brands, now is also the time to evolve our plan to offer global markets greater propulsion choice to unlock growth and build resilience,” said PB Balaji, JLR CEO.
The company also reaffirmed its five-year commitment to invest £18 billion in future technologies, vehicle platforms and transformation through FY29 (starting FY24), as it positions itself for growth in a flexible propulsion, software-defined and AI-enabled automotive era.

The Defender range currently includes the 90, 110 and 130 models and remains Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) best-selling nameplate. Production continues at its Nitra facility in Slovakia. A new Defender model has been confirmed as the second vehicle on the EMA platform, which will support both hybrid (HEV) and fully electric (BEV) variants in future.
Jaguar Land Rover said the Land Rover Discovery pioneered the family SUV segment and has served families for over 35 years. It remains the brand’s best-selling model, with over 2 million units sold since 1989. The model will continue to evolve while retaining its identity as a lifestyle-focused SUV designed for everyday use.

Jaguar Land Rover noted its iconic British brand, Jaguar, has recently marked its 90th anniversary and is being repositioned as a bold, aspirational, all-electric marque. Jaguar will become JLR’s exclusively electric brand, with production based at the Solihull plant in the UK. Its new luxury four-door GT, the Type 01, is set to be unveiled later this year.
“To truly manifest the power of our brands, we will increase our focus on North America, our biggest market. The rising demand for luxury products coupled with the strong preference we see for our brands signals significant growth potential,” he added.
The company’s ‘Enterprise Missions’ are expected to support Jaguar Land Rover’s target of delivering £1.7 billion in savings and returning breakeven volumes to around 300,000 vehicles over the next two years.
The automaker has also outlined plans to strengthen end-to-end processes and improve product launch execution to build long-term structural capabilities in key operational areas.
