Shimla, July 6 (APAC Media): The Himachal Pradesh Government on Monday transferred 18 IAS officers including IAS Dr. Abhishek Jain and 16 Himachal Administrative Service (HAS) officers in a major administrative reshuffle.
The exercise includes key departmental appointments, additional responsibilities for senior officers, and several district-level postings aimed at strengthening governance and public service delivery.
IAS Dr. Abhishek Jain Gets Financial Commissioner Charge
Among the key changes, 2002-batch, IAS Dr. Abhishek Jain has been given the additional charge of Financial Commissioner (Appeals).
He will continue to serve as Advisor (Regulatory Reforms) and Principal Secretary of the Finance, Planning, Economics & Statistics, 20-Point Programme, Jal Shakti Vibhag (JSV), and Technical Education departments.
IAS Sudesh Kumar Mokta Appointed Cooperation Secretary
2010-batch officer, IAS Sudesh Kumar Mokta, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Secretary, Cooperation Department.
Meanwhile, IAS Amarjeet Singh has been relieved of the Cooperation portfolio.
He will continue as Secretary, Town & Country Planning and Housing, while retaining the additional charge of the Home Department.
