Chennai, July 20 (APAC Media): The Tamil Nadu government has reshuffled two IAS officers, IAS R Lilly and IAS Dr R Sukumar giving them new administrative responsibilities as part of its latest round of transfers.
IAS R Lilly is a 2005 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre IAS officer. She has been appointed Commissioner of Stationery and Printing.
She was earlier serving as Special Secretary in the Transport Department.
She replaces 2019 batch officer IAS Dr R Sukumar, who has now been transferred as Joint Commissioner in the Municipal Administration Department.
Until now, he was serving as Director of Stationery and Printing.
According to the government order, R Lilly has been appointed to the post created temporarily under Rule 4(2) of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954.
The transfers are part of the Tamil Nadu government’s regular administrative exercise aimed at ensuring the effective deployment of senior officers across key departments.
