New Delhi, July 20(APAC Media): A fresh leak has revealed key details about the Google Pixel 11a, suggesting the device could arrive with Google’s upcoming Tensor G6 chipset and a new MediaTek M90 modem. If the leak is accurate, the modem switch could help improve connectivity, network stability, and heat management, areas where previous Pixel phones have often faced criticism.
The leaked specifications also point to a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is tipped to deliver up to 2,250 nits HDR brightness and 3,350 nits peak brightness, making it brighter than the Pixel 10a. The phone is also expected to include 8GB RAM and a 4,870mAh battery.
Another reported upgrade is on the front camera. The Pixel 11a is said to feature a new selfie sensor, internally codenamed “dokkaebi”, along with an improved Face Unlock system that could work faster and more accurately, particularly in low-light conditions. Details about the rear camera setup are still unknown.
The leak further suggests the Pixel 11a will be available in Obsidian, Olive, Frost, and Fog colour options. While Google is expected to launch the flagship Pixel 11 series around August 2026, reports indicate the more affordable Pixel 11a could debut in March 2027. The company has not officially confirmed the smartphone or its specifications.
