New Delhi, 20 August (APAC Media): ITS officer Vivek Jaiswal has assumed the charge of Chairman & Managing Director and Director (Technical) of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL).
ECIL is a Schedule ‘A’ Miniratna (Category-I) CPSE under the Department of Atomic Energy.
Jaiswal brings over three decades of experience in telecommunications, electronics, instrumentation, technology, business development, and public-sector management. He holds a B.E. in Electronics & Instrumentation from SATI Vidisha and an MBA from IIM Lucknow. He is a recipient of the prestigious Vishistha Sanchar Sewa Padak in BSNL.
Throughout his career, Jaiswal has worked with prestigious organisations, including ONGC, DoT, and BSNL. He has managed large-scale P&L portfolios exceeding Rs 1,000 crore and transformed multi-thousand-strong workforces. Jaiswal holds expertise in strategy and operations, business development, technology-led innovation, large-scale project execution, P&L management, and stakeholder engagement.Â
At ECIL, Jaiswal is expected to support the organisation’s next phase of growth, with greater focus on indigenous technology development, strategic electronics, new products, and market expansion.Â
