New Delhi, 18 August (APAC Media): Ambrish Tripathi has assumed charge as Director (Human Resources) of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).
He brings extensive experience in human resources, workforce development, digital transformation, and organisational capability building.
An engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Allahabad, he also holds an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management with specialisation in Human Resources from Symbiosis, Pune. He is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by PMI, USA.
Prior to his appointment as Director (HR), Tripathi was serving as General Manager of BEL’s Kotdwar Unit since January 1, 2024. During that time, he held several important assignments and contributed significantly to employee engagement, people development and organisational transformation. As General Manager of the Kotdwar Unit, he provided holistic leadership to the HR function, aligning people policies with organisational objectives, strategic frameworks, and corporate directives.
Tripathi also emphasised structured learning and skill enhancement programmes, enabling the existing workforce to develop the Kawach system for Indian Railways in record time. His proactive engagement helped maintain stable and productive industrial relations, contributing to a conducive work environment and enabling the unit to achieve a turnover of Rs 1,058 crore.
Outlining his vision as Director (HR), Tripathi said he aims to transform HR from an administrative function into a proactive strategic partner driving growth, innovation, and employee excellence. His mission is to build a future-ready, agile, and ethical workforce while leveraging advanced HR technology and fostering an inclusive workplace aligned with the national vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
