Hyderabad: Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 11 major corporations to launch a plethora of courses for the students of Telangana. The companies with whom MoUs were signed are Automation Anywhere, ARM, BluePrism, EDS Technologies, ExcelR, SmartBridge, Unschool, IBM Open P-Tech, Insofe, Google Cloud and Google Kotlin.
Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Department of ITE&C, presided over the event and said, “In this age of digitization, the COVID-19 pandemic has created a scenario akin to another Y2K. It is time to act and transform ourselves quickly in order to be relevant to the industry. The corporate should come up with courses that are based on experiential learning methodologies so that students get a hands-on feel of the technologies. I am happy that TASK has partnered with eleven of the best technology organisations. I wish them all the best and urge students to use the opportunity to their best benefit.”
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO of TASK, Shrikant Sinha said, “TASK is dedicated to empowering students with the latest technologies from the top multinational organisations. With these partnerships, we will be able to provide more courses in emerging technologies, design courses for core engineering subjects, provide more internship opportunities and make the students of Telangana more suitable resources for the industry.”
“Most of our partnerships will train the faculty as well, ensuring that they can transfer the knowledge to hundreds of students. I request all the colleges registered with us to make use of these opportunities to the fullest,” he added.
The leadership of the partner companies were present for the launch and they expressed their enthusiasm in offering the courses and being of benefit to the students of Telangana. The courses on offer through these partnerships include RPA, AI, data science, Machine Learning, Cloud computing, android app development, Catia, 3D experience, python, web development and more.

Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) is a not for profit organization established by the government of Telangana in 2014, that works with the primary objective of skilling youth and making them more employable and hence, curb the unemployment rate in the state. The organization caters to students from diverse academic courses and socio-cultural backgrounds.
