The Madhya Pradesh State Government transferred eight Indian Administrative Officers. Incidentally, this is the second bureaucratic reshuffle by the Shivraj Singh Chauhan-led government.
Caralyn Khongwar Deshmukh, a 1996-batch IAS officer has been appointed Principal Secretary, Ayush and Vikas-cum-Commissioner-cum-Director, Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy (Additional Charge). She was earlier posted as Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Department.
Similarly, 1998-batch IAS officer Mukesh Chand Gupta has been appointed as Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Department and Commissioner, Technical Education (Additional Charge). Gupta was earlier posted as Commissioner, Fund and Accounts and Ex-officio Secretary, Finance and Managing Director, Provident Investment Company Limited, Mumbai (Additional Charge).
Sandeep Yadav, 2000-batch IAS officer has been made Commissioner of Ujjain. This place was vacant after 2001-batch IAS officer Anand Kumar Sharma was made the Chief Minister’s secretary. Yadav was earlier posted as Managing Director, Agricultural Marketing Board-cum-Commissioner, Mandi.
Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, 2000-batch IAS officer has been appointed as Secretary, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department. Agarwal was earlier posted as Commissioner-cum-Registrar, Cooperative Societies and Managing Director, State Cooperative Oilseeds Producers Association.
Similarly, the state government appointed 2002-batch IAS officer Naresh Pal Kumar, Commissioner, Shahdol Division, Shahdol, as Commissioner-cum-Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Madhya Pradesh and Managing Director, State Cooperative Oilseeds Growers Association, while 2004-batch IAS officer Lokesh Kumar Jatav, Commissioner, State Education Center and Ex-officio Secretary, School Education Department, has been appointed as Commissioner, Fund and Accounts and Ex-officio Secretary, Finance and Managing Director, The Provident Investment Company Limited, Mumbai (Additional Charge).
Priyanka Das, Managing Director, 2009-batch IAS officer Madhya Pradesh State Seed and Farm Development Corporation, has been appointed as Managing Director, Agricultural Marketing Board-cum-Commissioner, Mandi, and Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh State Seed and Farm Development Corporation, Bhopal (Additional charge), while the same batch IAS officer S Dhanaraju, Director, Skill Development & CEO, State Skill Development Mission, has been appointed as Director, State Education Center and ex-officio Deputy Secretary, School Education Department.
