New Delhi: A great leap in India’s digital health journey. A new milestone in the country’s health record digitization. More than 10 crore health records are now linked digitally with the Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts under National Health Authority’s flagship Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
Speaking about the new achievement, R S Sharma, CEO of National Health Authority said, ‘ABDM has touched another milestone. With over 10 core health records linked to Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts, we appreciate all our citizens for coming forward to support our efforts in making healthcare digital in India.’
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) aims to develop the backbone necessary to support the integrated digital health infrastructure of the country. It will bridge the existing gap amongst different stakeholders of the Healthcare ecosystem through digital highways.
ABDM primarily has 5 components such as ABHA Number, Health Facility Registry, ABHA App, Healthcare Professionals Registry, United Health Interface (UHI).
