Mumbai: In a major administrative transfers and postings in Maharashtra, the Eknath Shinde led state government has transferred and posted over 41 IAS officers on Friday.
2011 batch IAS officer Rajendra Shankar Kshirsagar has been made the new Collector of Mumbai. He was serving as Joint Secretary in Chief Secretary Manoj Saunik’s office.
1999 batch IAS officer Makrand Deshmukh has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Chief Secretary’s office, in in place of Mr. Kshirsagar. Mr Deshmukh was serving as Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) in the Konkan division.
2011 batch IAS officer Sanjay Chavan, the incumbent Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad in Kolhapur, has been posted as Additional Controller of Stamps in Mumbai.
While Tukaram Mundhe, an IAS officer of 2005, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Agriculture Department. He was working as Secretary of the Marathi Language Department and was posted here just a month ago.
Sanjay Khandare, a 1996-batch IAS officer, has been posted as Principal Secretary of Water Supply and Sanitation Department in Mantralaya.
2013 batch IAS officer Gangatharan D, who is Nashik District Collector, has been posted as Joint Commissioner in the BMC, replacing incumbent Ajit Kumbhar.
2014 batch IAS officer Nima Arora, who is Akola’s District Collector, has been posted as Director, Information Technology Department in Mumbai.
Shanmugarajan S, IAS officer of 2013 batch and District Collector of Washim, has been posted as Additional Development Commissioner (Industries).
2014 batch IAS officer Vijay Chandrakant Rathod has been posted as Joint Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). He was Jalna’s District Collector.
