New Delhi: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is confirmed to have received new Defence and non-Defence orders worth Rs. 3,289 Cr. during July and August 2023 (till date), resulting in them gaining a lot of attention towards their shares. BEL’s shares traded up 1 per cent on August 28, at Rs 135.50.
BEL said it received orders for the supply of SONARS, Low Level Light Weight Radars, SATCOM Systems, IFF Systems, EO/IR Payloads, Jammers, Encryptors, TRM/DTRMs, Data Link Systems, Radars for Directed Energy Systems, Fire Control Systems, Semi Rugged Telephone Exchanges, Software Defined Radios and various types of radios, AMC, Electronic Voting Machines and Spares.
The company said these orders also include the LoI / order worth Rs 1,075 Cr that they received today from Hindustan Shipyards Limited to whom they will be supplying CMS, EW Systems, Communication Systems, and other sensors for fleet support ships.
Remarkably, these orders are on top of the Rs. 8,091 Cr orders, which BEL has already received. In conclusion, BEL has received orders of Rs. 11,380 Cr, in total, till now within the financial year 2023-24.
