Hyderabad: For the first time in India, ‘Chief Information Security Officers CISO Council has been inaugurated in Telangana recently. It is a collaborative effort between the state police, industry stakeholders, and academia.
The event was marked by the presence of Ramesh Kaza, the Secretary of the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC).
The establishment of the CISO Council by Telangana Police represents a critical advancement in addressing cybersecurity challenges. This milestone highlights the continuously evolving nature of cyber threats and their substantial financial repercussions.
It emphasises the importance of fostering strong collaboration among law enforcement agencies, the corporate sector, and educational institutions to effectively combat these challenges.
The CISO council will tackle cyber security threats in real time by partnering with public and private institutions.
