Chandigarh: The Punjab government recently issued orders for the immediate transfer of two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
Harpreet Singh Sudan, a 2013 batch IAS officer currently serving as the Director of Sports and Youth Services, Director of Technical Education and Industrial Training, and Controller of Printing and Stationery, has been appointed Special Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation.
Additionally, he will be serving as the Head of Department (HOD) in the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation, filling a vacant post. Sudan will also continue to hold the responsibilities of Director of Technical Education and Industrial Training and Controller of Printing and Stationery.
Rishi Pal Singh, a 2014 batch IAS officer currently holding the position of Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar, also received his transfer order. He will be serving in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare as the Registrar of Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana.
