Tamil Nadu govt reshuffles IAS officers; IAS Jayashree Muralidharan appointed Secy, Dept of Social Welfare and Women Empowerment

Chennai: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu government announced the transfer of several IAS officers to new positions. Following are officers and their new positions:

• IAS officer Jayashree Muralidharan has been designated as the Secretary to the Department of Social Welfare and Women Empowerment.
• IAS officer S Nagarajan will serve as the Secretary to the Department of Welfare for Differently-abled Persons, with the additional responsibility of overseeing the Human Resources Management Department.
• IAS officer L Subramanian is appointed as the Secretary to the Tamil Development and Information Department.
• IAS officer K S Palanisamy is set to serve as the Commissioner of Land Administration, contributing to land management initiatives.
• IAS officer Shunchongam Jatak Chiru takes on the dual role of Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Fisheries and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Development Corporation.
• IAS officer R Selvaraj has been entrusted with the position of Project Director for the Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project-II, with additional responsibilities including the Chennai-Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor and serving ex-officio as the Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Road Development Company.
