New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) and the Indian Institute of Technology in Bhubaneswar have formalised their collaboration in the renewable energy sector. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked during the 100-cube Start-Up Conclave hosted by IIT Bhubaneswar.
The agreement aims to strengthen joint efforts in innovation and research, facilitate technology transfer, and foster the growth of the start-up ecosystem. This collaboration will include various initiatives including joint research endeavours, technology transfer support, and comprehensive assistance for start-ups. Additionally, it will include capacity-building activities such as training programs, seminars, and workshops geared towards enhancing the skills of IREDA officials.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman & Managing Director of IREDA, Dr Debi Prasad Dogra, Independent Director of IIT Bhubaneswar and Union Minister for Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan.
