Minor administrative reshuffle, IAS Officers Assigned New Roles in Jharkhand and West Bengal

New Delhi: IAS officer Dipankar Chaudhary, currently serving as the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) in Deogarh, has been appointed as the Project Director of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) in Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum. He is a 2020 batch officer from the Jharkhand cadre.

IAS officer Shubhanjan Das, from the West Bengal cadre and belonging to the 2005 batch, has been appointed as the District Election Officer for Kolkata North. Das, previously served as Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department, has now been reassigned to oversee election matters in the Kolkata North district of West Bengal.

Simultaneously, IAS officer Mohammad Ghulam Ali Ansari, who belongs to the 2000 batch in the West Bengal cadre, has been appointed Divisional Commissioner for Malda Division. Ansari, previously served as Secretary of Minority Affairs and Madrasa Education Department, along with holding additional responsibilities as Commissioner of Malda Division and Chairman of West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC), has been transferred.
