New Delhi: Manjesh Porwal, an officer from the Indian Cost Accounts Service (ICoAS) of the 2024 batch, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) issued an order on February 20 announcing Porwal’s selection under the Central Staffing Scheme.
According to the order, Porwal’s appointment is effective for a period of four years from the date he assumes charge or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier. The recommendation for Porwal’s central deputation came from the Department of Expenditure.
The order instructs Porwal to be relieved of his current duties immediately and to assume his new role in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
