IAS Prashant Goyal Appointed Principal Secretary & Commissioner, Dept of Commerce; 4 more officers shuffled in Delhi

New Delhi: The Delhi government recently approved the transfers and postings of five IAS officers. Following are their names and new designations:

1. IAS officer Prashant Goyal from the 1993 batch will serve as the Principal Secretary as well as the Commissioner in the Department of Commerce.
2. IAS officer Navin Kumar Chaudhary from the 1994 batch has been appointed the Principal Secretary in the Department of Irrigation and Flood Control.
3. IAS officer Mitali Namchoom from the 2011 batch will serve as the Director of the Department of Women and Child Development.
4. Namchoon replaces IAS officer Krishna Kumar (2010 batch) who has been posted as the Special Secretary in the Public Works Department.
5. Kumar replaces IAS officer Pankaj Kumar (2012 batch) who will now serve as the Controller in the Department of Weights and Measurements along with an additional charge as Deputy Commissioner (HQ).
