IAS Deependra Kumar Choudhary receives addl charge of Secretary, Human Rights Commission; 2 more officers shuffled in Uttarakhand

Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government recently transferred and posted three IAS officers across various departments. The names and designations of the officers are as below:

• The position of Secretary of the Human Rights Commission, held by IAS officer Harish Chandra Semwal (2005 batch), has been reassigned due to his recent health issues. Semwal will continue to serve as Secretary of Religion and Culture, Panchayati Raj.
• IAS officer Deependra Kumar Choudhary from the 2007 batch received the charge of Secretary Human Rights Commission. He will hold this position in addition to his current responsibilities as Secretary, Military Welfare, and Secretary, Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, with the additional charge of Secretariat Administration, General Administration, and Protocol.
• Furthermore, IAS officer Ashish Bhatgain from the 2017 batch has been appointed as the Director of Administration at Pantnagar Agricultural University. Bhatgain will also maintain his role as Director of Social Welfare.
