New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) recently approved the appointment of IAS officer Rahul Singh as the next Chairperson of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The 1996 batch officer from the Bihar cadre is currently posted as the Additional Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). Singh succeeds IAS officer Nidhi Chhibber, who will now serve as an Advisor in the Niti Aayog.
