Amravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has transferred 18 IAS officers in a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, marking the second major move since Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu assumed office.
As per the order issued by Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad, several district collectors were reassigned. Notably, S. Nagalakshmi, previously Vizianagaram District Collector, was appointed as Guntur District Collector, replacing M. Venugopal Reddy. B.R. Ambedkar is now the Vizianagaram District Collector. A. Mallikarjuna, previously Visakhapatnam District Collector, and other key officials were also transferred, with some awaiting new postings.
The Secretaries were instructed to ensure interim arrangements for the vacant positions, while Peeyush Kumar, Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, was repatriated to Andhra Pradesh.
