Mumbai: Citi bank has named Jeegar Shah as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its India franchise. Shah has served as India’s interim CFO since February 2024. He was Citi’s South Asia Cluster Controller before taking over as interim CFO.
Shah will serve as the single point of contact for all financial matters in India in his capacity as Chief Financial Officer. In addition, he will provide Ashu Khullar, Citi Country Officer for India and Head of Banking for Indian Sub-Continent, with strategic financial management support, according to a statement released by the foreign organisation.
In his new role as Chief Financial Officer of India, Jeegar will report to Mui-Eng Teo, who is the Chief Financial Officer of Citi’s Asia South Cluster.
