New Delhi: The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has announced the launch of the Women Entrepreneurship Program, aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs and spurring economic growth. The objective of this program is to address the obstacles encountered by female entrepreneurs by providing essential competencies, expertise, and connections.
Under the initiative, the corporation will provide free self-learning classes on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship at the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) in a variety of languages. Participants will get a co-branded certificate from Britannia Industries, NSDC, and NIESBUD—the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development—after completing these courses, recognizing their aptitude for entrepreneurship. With the support of this project, almost 25 lakh women in India will be empowered to launch and expand prosperous enterprises by giving them the tools, resources, and expertise they need.
The project aims to create an inclusive environment for women entrepreneurs by showcasing their products and services on the Skill India Digital Hub and offering financial grants in collaboration with Britannia Industries Limited.
