Ahmedabad: Airports across India are facing lounge access disruptions following the suspension of services by Dreamfolks Services Ltd, a key lounge access provider. Adani Airports Holdings Ltd (AAHL) confirmed that they are coordinating with banks to address the issue swiftly. The disruption occurred due to an unresolved issue with Dreamfolks, despite AAHL’s efforts to reinstate services.
In a statement, AAHL assured passengers that lounges at Adani-operated airports are temporarily accepting major debit and credit cards from other providers. The affected airports include Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow, among others. AAHL manages seven airports, handling a significant portion of India’s passenger and cargo traffic.
Dreamfolks Services Ltd acknowledged the disruption, stating that their team is working with partners to resolve the problem. The company emphasized that all contractual obligations remain intact, and they are working towards a solution.
AAHL operates Mumbai International Airport, responsible for 25% of the country’s passenger traffic and 33% of air cargo. The situation is expected to normalize soon, but no official timeline has been provided for the complete restoration of services.
