Mumbai: In a significant administrative reshuffle, IAS Rajesh Narvekar (Batch 2009) has been appointed as the Director of Information Technology in Mumbai. Narvekar, who was previously serving as the Navi Mumbai Municipal Commissioner, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
As part of the same reshuffle, the Maharashtra Government has announced additional key appointments:
IAS Vinay Moon (Batch 2011) has been designated as the Director of Sericulture in Nagpur. Moon will oversee the state’s sericulture programs, focusing on enhancing silk production and supporting local sericulturists.
IAS Yogesh Kumbhejkar (Batch 2016) will assume the role of Managing Director of Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation in Akola. Kumbhejkar will be responsible for the management and distribution of seeds, which is essential for the state’s agricultural development.
