New Delhi: The Indian Navy has teamed up with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance to offer life insurance plans for its civilian employees. The partnership, sealed on October 8, supports the Navy’s “Year of Naval Civilians” initiative, which aims to provide added benefits to civilian staff.
Through this agreement, Bajaj Allianz Life will provide tailored life insurance options for Navy civilians, ensuring affordable coverage. Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla highlighted the partnership as a positive step for civilian staff, while Tarun Chugh, CEO of Bajaj Allianz Life, noted the company’s focus on bridging the insurance gap.
As part of the plan, Bajaj Allianz will conduct workshops to help civilian staff understand the value of life insurance and options like term insurance. The company also plans to adapt its processes to meet the unique needs of Navy civilians.
This move aligns with broader efforts to make life insurance more accessible, helping to offer financial security to those supporting the Navy.
