Ranchi: The government of Jharkhand has orchestrated an administrative reshuffle ahead of the impending state legislative assembly elections, transferring 3 IAS and 7 IPS Officers. Amongst the IAS officers, Varun Ranjan (2014 batch) has been made the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Ranchi replacing IAS Manjunath Bhajantri (2011 batch).
IAS Bhajantri has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS). IAS Mrityunjay Kumar Baranwal (2013 batch), who was previously posted as the CEO of JSLPS, has been transferred and made the new commissioner of MGNREGA.
Besides the IAS transfers, the list of IPS transfers includes:
IPS Kumar Shivashish (2020 batch), previously the Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) in Hazaribagh, has been now appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP), Jamshedpur City.
IPS Paras Rana (2021 batch) has been posted as Additional SP (Operations) in Chaibasa.
IPS Rakesh Singh (2021 batch) has become the Additional SP (Operations) in Palamu.
IPS Ritvik Srivastava (2021 batch) has been appointed as the Additional SP (Operations) in Chatra.
IPS Sheikh Mohammad Yakub (2021 batch) has taken charge as SDPO of Hussainabad.
IPS Lalit Meena (2021 batch) has been posted as SDPO of Chainpur in Gumla.
IPS Amit Anand (2021 batch) has become the SDPO of Hazaribagh.
