Bengaluru: Nokia has joined with Bengaluru startup Redinent Innovations to improve cybersecurity for industries using IoT and Industrial IoT (IIoT) devices. Redinent’s security platform will now be part of Nokia’s MX Industrial Edge (MXIE) solution, which companies worldwide use to manage their digital operations.
As industries rely more on connected devices, cybersecurity has become a major concern. Nokia and Redinent’s collaboration aims to protect these IoT systems from cyber threats by offering automated security checks and safeguarding critical infrastructure.
Nokia’s MXIE is a key part of its private wireless solutions, supporting industries as they adopt new technologies under Industry 4.0. Redinent is the first Indian startup to integrate its security platform with Nokia’s industrial edge solutions.
This partnership comes as global companies are expected to increase spending on Industry 4.0 applications, with estimates showing $6 billion in investment by 2030. By working together, Nokia and Redinent aim to help industries securely embrace digital transformation.
