New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has unveiled a six-month executive programme in Virtual and Augmented Reality (AR/VR) as part of its Continuing Education Programme (CEP). Designed for professionals, this blended learning course aims to equip learners with practical skills and deep expertise to lead innovation in the rapidly evolving AR/VR landscape.

Comprehensive Curriculum and Hands-On Learning
The programme covers foundational concepts to advanced design and development techniques for immersive experiences. The curriculum is divided into 10 specialised modules, focusing on AR/VR development, design principles, immersive experience creation, game development, and prototyping. Participants will gain hands-on proficiency with industry-standard tools like Unity, Unreal Engine, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects.
A capstone project will enable learners to apply their knowledge by creating real-world AR/VR applications. Graduates of this programme will be prepared for high-demand roles such as AR/VR Designers, Game Designers, and Instructional Designers, positioning them to shape the future of digital experiences.

Eligibility and Programme Details
The course is open to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or diploma holders with at least three years of work experience. The programme fee is ₹1,59,000 plus taxes. Applications close on February 11, and the course will commence on February 15.

The programme will be delivered in a Direct-to-Device (D2D) format through live interactive sessions, incorporating industry-relevant case studies, simulations, projects, and assignments. A one-day campus immersion will provide participants with direct exposure to IIT Delhi’s academic environment.
