Mumbai: HDFC Bank Limited has received approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for the reappointment of Kaizad Bharucha as the Deputy Managing Director and Whole-time Director of the bank.
The appointment is for a tenure of three years, effective April 19, 2026.
The RBI approved the appointment on January 20, 2026, after the bank submitted an application based on recommendations from its Governance, Nomination, and Remuneration Committee and the Board of Directors.Â
With this approval, Bharucha will continue as Deputy Managing Director of HDFC Bank for another three years. The reappointment ensures leadership continuity as the bank remains focused on growth, digital initiatives, and operational stability.
