New Delhi: BHIM, the digital payments app powered by NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL), has partnered with FinTech Yatra 2025 to promote financial inclusion and digital literacy across India. The partnership focuses on training grassroots-level trainers to expand digital payment awareness in underserved areas.
Train-the-Trainer Initiative to Drive Awareness
Under this collaboration, over 200 individuals from select NGOs will undergo training through a “train-the-trainer” model. These trainers will be equipped to educate communities about secure digital payment practices, with a focus on rural and remote regions.
Rahul Handa, Chief Business Officer of NBSL, stated that the partnership aligns with BHIM’s mission of bridging the digital divide and promoting efficient digital payment solutions.
FinTech Yatra’s Role in the Ecosystem
The FinTech Yatra 2025, a 10,000 km journey, seeks to connect fintech innovators with financial institutions, venture capitalists, and other stakeholders. The initiative emphasizes fostering innovation and expanding the use of digital payments in India’s financial ecosystem.
