Mumbai: As part of a bureaucratic reshuffle in the state, the government of Maharashtra has announced the transfers and fresh postings of nine Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers.
As per the official order, IAS Dr Vijay Suryawanshi (2006 batch) has been appointed Divisional Commissioner of Konkan Division, Mumbai. Before this, he served as the Commissioner of State Excise Department.
The list of other transfers includes:
IAS Dr Rajesh Deshmukh (2008 batch) has been transferred from the role of Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division, Mumbai, and posted as Commissioner, State Excise, Mumbai.
IAS Nayana Gunde (2008 batch) has been moved from the post of Commissioner, Tribal Development, Nashik to Commissioner, Women and Child, Pune.
IAS Vimala R. (2009 batch) has been shifted from State Project Director, Samgra Siksha Abhiyan, Mumbai to Resident Commissioner and Secretary, Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi.
IAS Siddharam Salimath (2011 batch) has been made Commissioner, Sugar, Pune. He last served as the Collector, Ahilyanagar.
IASĀ Milindkumar Salwe (2013 batch) has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Bhandara.
IAS Dr Sachin Ombase (2015 batch) has been transferred from the role of Collector, Dharashiv to Municipal Commissioner, Solapur Municipal Corporation, Solapur.
IAS Leena Bansod (2015 batch) has been appointed Commissioner, Tribal Development, Nashik. He previously served as the Managing Director, Maharashtra State Co-operative Tribal Development Corporation, Nashik.
IAS Rahul Kumar Meena (2021 batch) has been moved from the post of Project Officer, ITDP, Gadchiroli, and Assistant Collector, Gadchiroli Sub Division, Gadchiroli to Chief Executive Officer, ZP, Latur.
